Social Performance
Why the same ad doesn't work the same on TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn
July 8, 2026 · 4 min

The most common mistake when scaling content is treating every network as one. You produce a piece, crop it to a few sizes, and post it the same everywhere. The result: a piece that performs on one network and vanishes on the rest.
Format, rhythm and intent
On TikTok the hook lives in the first second and the tone is spoken. On Instagram the visual and brand aesthetic carry the weight. On LinkedIn point of view and authority win. One concept needs three distinct executions, not three crops.
Adapt, don't copy
Adapting means rewriting the copy, recomposing the art for the right format and tuning the CTA to user intent on that network. The concept stays; the execution changes. That's the difference between being present and performing.
